Dr. Maja Drozdz has a lifelong ambition of becoming a veterinarian and giving back to shelter animals and the community. While volunteering at city shelters in college, completing an externship at Harnas Wildlife in Namibia, and designing her own vet program in Mexico with shelter animals, she graduated from Tufts University in 2012. She then went on to complete a rotating internship at the renowned ASPCA in New York City.
Moving to the Bay Area for 6 years she worked in private practice but continued to work with the underserved population through PawFund and then fundraised and coordinated an entire dental program for the Contra Costa Animal Shelter. She has now settled with her family in Colorado and is excited to share her love of geriatric care, arthritis management, cats, and dentistry with the staff and clients of Goldsmith Veterinary.
