Dr. Katie Petrillo grew up in Riverside, California. Her love for animals started very young, resulting in a childhood full of well loved pet rats, hermit crabs, cats, dogs, and a parrot. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology at UC Riverside before heading to Northern California to attend the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
She started her career as a veterinarian in Sacramento, CA before making the move to Colorado. She especially loves working with cats of all ages and senior dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, live music, hiking, and spending time with her two cats and senior Basset Hound.
